Evaluation and ranking of urban sustainability based on sustainability assessment by fuzzy evaluation model

Urban sustainability can be considered as a part of sustainable development, which emphasizes the balance between three dimensions environmental, economic, and social to improve human well-being quality life. In this study, it was attempted assess urban in most critical, populous, expanded district Tehran (district 4) using assessment by fuzzy evaluation. For purpose, 52 primary indices were divided into 8 secondary components employed. Among them, 18 for environmental issues grouped E1, E3, 34 economic–social cultural classified five H1 H5. The results revealed that 56% study area potentially unsustainable 44% had medium terms aspects.
